Essex County Cricket Club planned to consolidate mobile communication suppliers, some of whom delivered less than reliable services. It chose to work solely with Vodafone and Vodafone Partner Cellular Carphone to maximise connectivity and simplify management. Now, personnel get greater value from their smartphones, working more closely with customers, and overseas players can keep in touch with loved ones. Despite increased usage, the club has also reduced bills by around 20 per cent a month.
